I begin with this quote because of the power of these words from a trusted business building guru. Kiyosaki is suggesting in this statement that he has discovered something incredibly special about this system called ‘network marketing’. He has a phenomenal DVD called The Perfect Business that goes into his “aha's” around the principles of network marketing and what the mind set one needs to embrace in order to experience phenomenal success.
It is a business about helping people, often called a people's franchise. It is the unseen business, it does not have giant signs or large offices but yet millions of people are working in this industry each and everyday.
It takes commitment and determination in both building and marketing your business. Network Marketing Training is vitally important to insure your success in your business opportunity. Ask yourself, “Can I see myself as a network marketer?” Can you see yourself successful having, doing and being what you want? These questions are important because if you can’t see it, you can’t believe it. When you believe it then you can achieve it.
I wanted to play the piano when I was a little girl. I had heard others play so beautifully but when I sat down at a piano – what came out was a far cry from what I had heard. Had I stopped there and just said, “Oh, I cannot play the piano, piano playing must not be for me”, I would have missed the incredible experience of playing the music that was so desperately trying to express through me.
Being a successful marketer is no different than when I first started to learn to play the piano. It first starts with a desire, then a commitment and then a dedication. Anyone can be a network marketer or a piano player but, these elements must be there in order to be successful. I have a person affirmation I use with my network marketing business and you can use it too. It is “Never, ever, ever give up!!!”
First: We must become educated about this business. How can you make an informed decision without the necessary education that will allow you to know if a particular opportunity or sponsor is right for you? What is the value of the product that you are representing? Get to know your product
Second: If you have filled out online forms requesting information about a home business, know that someone is going to call you, be prepared for this. When they call to discuss their opportunity, if its not a good time let them know, most are people understand this. If they do not, you really do not want to do business with them.
Third: Ok, so you think you have found the opportunity the sponsor, now what? Most people freeze up at this point in time, I’ll do it tomorrow or next week. Pretty soon they find its years latter and they are no better off now then they where then. Procrastination is one of the biggest obstacles to overcome in all aspects of life. Time is such a precious commodity that really cannot be wasted. We have all know how compounded interest works with money, building your business also works on the same principle. It starts slow at first then gains momentum as our skills and education grow.
Fourth: If you’ve been doing your home work or due diligence you should be comfortable with your prospective sponsor. Give them a call and they’ll assist you through the signup process. It’s quick, simple and painless. Most companies offer instant online signup through the internet, of course you’ll need a few items to fill out the forms because you’re starting a real business. Such as S.S# if you’re a U.S. resident or Tax I.D if your not. This maybe different if you’re in another country but your sponsor will know what you need or can get the answers for you.
Fifth: Once you have joined a program, don’t just sit back you have to get moving. Think about it you’re now your own boss and sometimes this is good and sometimes its bad. Most of us are our own worst critics. Each day you will need to ask yourself this question "Would I have fired myself today for my actions"
